Fruit Plate

This is a favorite at my house. My kids love it, and I often bring it to school events and gatherings with friends because it’s so easy to make, delicious, and (mostly!) healthy.

The original recipe calls for marshmellow fluff and cool whip, but I substitute Greek yogurt for the fluff, and make my own whip cream instead of using cool whip.

Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of strawberry cream cheese
  • 8 ounces of strawberry greek yogurt
  • 8 ounces of heavy whipping cream
  • fruit

Directions

  • Let the cream cheese soften to room temperature.
  • Whip the heavy whipping cream with a splash of vanilla — because everything is better with vanilla.
  • Mix the cream cheese, yogurt, and whipped cream together.
  • Serve with your favorite fruits. We like strawberries at my house, but I’ve also served it with blueberries, pineapple chunks, grapes, apple slices, raspberries, and banana slices.

Variations

  • Use Cool Whip in lieu of whipping your own cream if you’re short on time.
  • Try blueberry cream cheese/yogurt instead of strawberry cream cheese/yogurt.
  • Place strawberry halves and blueberries on small toothpicks for mini fruit kabobs.
  • Serve with small cups filled with the dip.
  • Warm a small dish of frozen berries in the microwave for 30 seconds, then top with the dip.
